Dr. Evan Gabert

Evan was born and raised in Calgary. He completed his PhD at the University of Calgary in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Shimizu. He is currently working as a postdoctoral associate. His research includes development of novel MOFs for chemical separations with emphasis on sorbent stability, scalability, and CO2-H2O competition. In his free time, Evan can be found hiking, climbing, and skiing in the mountains.
