Dr. Debabrata Chakraborty

Debabrata hails from the vibrant state of West Bengal, India. He began his academic journey with a

B.Sc. in Chemistry from Midnapore College in 2014, followed by M.Sc. in Chemistry at Presidency

University in 2016. Next, he pursued and completed his Ph.D. in 2022 at the School of Materials

Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.

From 2022 to 2024, Debabrata broadened his horizons as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for

Applied Chemistry, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, South Korea. Here, His

research centers on developing affordable porous nanomaterials for carbon capture.

Outside the lab, Debabrata enjoys exploring his culinary skills, playing cricket, celebrating moments

with family and friends, and unwinding with movies and series.
